The working fluid (pure water or other liquids) circulates inside the coils of the closed cooling tower. Heat from the fluid is absorbed by the coil walls and expelled outside by the top fan. When the fluid temperature exceeds the set value, the spray system starts automatically.
Spray water forms a thin film on the warm and humid coil surfaces, absorbs heat, evaporates into vapor, and is carried away by airflow. Unevaporated water drops fall into the water tank for recycling. This design protects the environment by reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
